We will have the graduation walk at approximately 9:30 AM today.
There is no quiet lunch for the remainder of the school year.
Students, please note that food in the classroom is limited to snacks such as granola bars. No fast food items are allowed in the classrooms.
Also, please be sure all your trash is picked up when leaving the classroom, such as your snack wrappers and drink containers.
This is a reminder to teachers not to let more than one student out at any time.
Attendance exemptions will be emailed to students on Monday, May 19, 2025. Students must also have secured a C or better in their course to be exempt from final exams.

Graduating seniors are invited to kick off their special day with a breakfast in the Commons before the Graduation Walk and practice.

Friday, May 16 at 8:30 a.m.
After breakfast, seniors will visit schools across the Bethalto School District in their caps and gowns to inspire younger students. 🎓 Don’t forget your cap and gown!
🎓 Graduation Practice
Friday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. | CMHS Gymnasium
This practice is mandatory for all graduating seniors.
🎟 Seniors will receive their graduation admission tickets during this time.

All students interested in playing football next fall should attend a brief informational meeting on Wednesday, May 7, immediately following PLC early dismissal. The meeting will be held in the football locker room at the stadium.
🎶 Choir Concert:
Join us for the choir concert this Thursday at 6:30 PM in the auditorium. Come out and support our talented vocalists!
💉 School Nurse Day – Today!
Take a moment to thank our amazing school nurse for keeping us healthy and safe every day!
CMHS: We will have a PLC day on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Students will be dismissed at 12:36 PM, and bus riders will be picked up at 1:00 PM. We will offer a grab-and-go lunch for all students. A signup form for lunch has been sent to their email. Those not needing lunch or a bus can leave campus at 12:36 PM.

This week, we say goodbye to our seniors as they wrap up their final days at CMHS. It’s a week filled with emotion—not just for our students, but for their families as well. We encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect, celebrate, and most of all, enjoy this special time.
At the same time, our underclassmen are quickly approaching the end of the semester. Parents, please keep a close eye on your student’s grades. This is a critical time, especially for those in core classes. As a reminder, underclassmen who fail a core class will be recommended for summer school to stay on track for graduation.
The final exam schedule and exemption requirements are included in this newsletter. Please take a few minutes to review this information with your student so there are no surprises as we wrap up the school year. Let’s finish strong!
