Semester 2 Schedules & Schedule Change Guidelines
Second semester schedules will be available in PowerSchool beginning Monday, January 5, 2026. Students who do not have access to PowerSchool may find their first-hour class posted in the CMHS Commons on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Official paper copies of schedules will be distributed to students during 1st hour on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Students should be sure to check PowerSchool or review the Commons postings upon arrival.
Schedule changes may be approved only under specific circumstances. Changes will be considered if a required class is missing from a student’s schedule, the student is not in the correct placement, there is a scheduling conflict (two classes scheduled at the same time), the student has already taken the course, a class or period is missing, or the same class is scheduled for two different periods.
Schedule changes will not be approved for preference-based reasons, including not knowing anyone in a class, disliking a class or the class period, wanting to be placed with a friend, concerns based on sibling opinions, or personal dislike of a teacher or course.
These guidelines help ensure that schedules support academic progress while maintaining equity and consistency for all students.
