Computer Bag Information

For the 2018-19 school year, the district will no longer provide students with a computer bag.  Students will need to provide their own "messenger" style bag.  At the end of the 2017-18 school year, all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders were given their district issued computer bag and they may continue to use those bags; however, the district will no longer provide repairs for them.  We will have a limited supply of bags available for purchase at the beginning of the year.  Students will not be issued a computer unless they have a computer bag.  Listed below are some suggested bags that can be purchased online:

Option #1 - Amazon

Option #2 - Walmart
Option #3 - Walmart

The bags above are only suggestions.  Students may purchase other bags; however, they must be a messenger style bags that is designed to fit an 11.6 - 12 inch laptop computer.  Please call the main office if you have any questions.

Schedule Changes

Student and Parent initiated schedule changes must be requested by April 1, 2018. Such requests may not be based upon teacher preference and may be denied on the basis of class size requirements and limitations. Counselor initiated changes may be necessary because of scheduling conflicts, computer errors, or teacher/counselor recommendation based on aptitude or prerequisites. Student selected alternate courses will be used in such cases. Assignment to Math, Science, and English classes may be adjusted for ability level and/or prerequisites. Students may not elect to drop a yearlong course mid-year. If a student believes he/she is inappropriately placed in a course, a parent/teacher/student/administrator conference will be held to evaluate the situation. At this time, standardized assessments will be reviewed and the amount of effort put forth by the student will be assessed to determine if a course change will be allowed. Students may not change classes at the semester simply on the basis of personal preference.
