Dual Credit Grading

For students to earn dual credit, they must continue forward with the prescribed learning progression as provided by the college.

Students enrolled in dual credit will be issued two grades; a grade for their CMHS transcript and a grade for their Lewis and Clark transcript.  Work completed can only positively impact grades at CMHS; therefore, a student's semester 2 grade will be the same or higher than their quarter 3 grade.

However, assignments and assessments can either positively or negatively affect the grade submitted to Lewis and Clark.  If a student is not comfortable continuing or if a student is experiencing a declining grade and would like to be removed from a class, they need to contact their teacher and they can be removed from the class.  May 6th is the deadline if students should choose this option. The course will be removed from the student’s college transcript with no mark of withdrawal (W).

For more information, students are encouraged to reach out to their dual credit teachers.

Drivers Education Grading

The state is now allowing the classroom portion of Drivers Education to be completed remotely. The book, PowerPoints, assignments, and assessments are posted in Mr. Laux's Schoology Account. Mr. Laux will provide directions and procedures for students weekly.

Each week, 2 assignments will be posted on Monday and are due the following Monday. Students must earn a 70% in the classroom portion to obtain a passing grade from the State of Illinois.

Behind the Wheel will resume when the statewide mandate school closure is lifted.

Questions regarding Driver's Education need to be directed to Mr. Ty Laux.
