Civic Memorial Friends,
This newsletter will be our last for the 22/23 school year. It has been an excellent year as we returned to normalcy after several challenging years. We've enjoyed that renewed school spirit and the love and laughter that returned to the classrooms! Thank you for being excellent
partners in education!
Monday, May 22nd, and Tuesday, May 23rd, are traditional days with all seven classes. For the remainder of the week, we have our semester exams. Students only need to be present for the semester exams they must take. Please be sure to review the semester exam schedule below in this newsletter.
Once students no longer need their computers, either at the end of the day Tuesday or after their last exam, they must turn them in at the CMHS library. Additionally, students need to remember to return their school-issued chargers. Families may be billed if the charger is missing or if there is damage to the computer.
The fee structure is detailed below:
Be sure that you review your student's grades. Feel free to ask the classroom teacher questions
about your student's grades. If your student should fail a graduation requirement, you must get
them enrolled in summer school. Students who fail one course per semester per year will not
obtain enough credits to walk at graduation; therefore, students must pass all of their classes.
Click here for summer school information. Serving as your student's principal this past year has been a humbling experience. My heart has
been filled with pride as I've witnessed their growth, resilience, and achievements firsthand.
Thank you for entrusting me with their education!
Have a great rest of your day, and remember, Go Eagles! Mr. Newell
