Quick Tip at CMHS

Quick Tip is designed to help students report unsafe behavior to adults when the student is uncomfortable coming forward in person with information. We STRONGLY encourage students to find an adult in the building with whom they feel comfortable to talk to if they are concerned about something happening in school. This allows for two way communication and nearly always a more efficient way of handling and finding a solution to the problem.

Students, staff, parents, and other stakeholders can visit the district website and click the QuickTip Logo. Quick Tip can be accessed from any computer or device with internet access.  Users can identify which school should receive the tip, select an appropriate topic, write the message, upload images, and submit the tip. Users may choose to communicate anonymously or use their name. It is important to note that anonymous tips are much more difficult to investigate.

Please note that in AN EMERGENCY, USERS SHOULD CALL 911, or in the case of a MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS OR SUICIDE CONCERN, call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) OR text HELLO to the Crisis Text Line at 741741.

  • Administrators will check Quick tips at the beginning and end of each school day.
  • Quick Tips will NOT be checked when school is NOT in session.

  • False reporting is strictly prohibited and disciplinary action could be taken if this occurs. All information received by the school may be passed on to law enforcement.
  • It is helpful to share specific information such as a detailed description of the concern or incident, names and grade level of those involved, location of the concern, names of any potential witnesses, and any supporting evidence. The more information you share, the better likelihood we can investigate the situation. If there is not enough information to investigate, we will not be able to help.
